A belated Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy to be back! Jan-Willem and I spent the month of September and part of October travelling and discovering how lived experiences revitalizes my spirit!
Our trip highlights were anchored in three countries: a remote island resort in Malaysia, the Formula One Race in Singapore and the Art Islands in Japan. We did immersive activities of night time street-food tours, making Japanese washi paper, Shibori indigo tie-dyeing and exploring an ancient ceramic kiln and pottery community in an old quarter of a coastal town.
We are grateful to have experienced these new adventures, meeting people from all parts of the globe and immersing ourselves in activities that made us feel part of the culture of each country we visited.
Every time we travel, we discover there’s so much more to explore in this world!

Getting to know how your body feels, moves and relaxes!
Your body is always changing, as does our moods and appetite. We believe it should be the same, steady and reliable in the way we treat it. However, the environment dictates a different reality, and we become surprised that it doesn’t respond to the way we envisioned it.
I know I feel this way often. I may notice a cold coming on one day, sensations in the shoulder happening the next or I am anxious about an upcoming event and my body reacts with symptoms. Becoming aware of how your body reacts to its environment can help with managing stress and uncertainty.
When realizing that the body is impermanent, always changing like all things living, you can relax and sit back observing these changes with compassion and acceptance since it will eventually disappear.
For some of us effected by the current events in Israel and other countries, our emotions can override the physical response in our body. Becoming aware of how your body feels, moves and relaxes can offer insights into its changing energy when you least expect it.
Take a moment to listen to your body’s signals and ride the wave of its journey!

PRACTICE TOGETHER – MINDFUL TUESDAYS AND WAKE-UP WEDNESDAYS, SOMATIC MOVEMENT
For the past year, I was glad to offer free meditation and movement sessions online. Now with more accreditations under my belt and your interest, I am pleased to be introducing a membership format with numerous perks.
Introducing Calm Membership for Meditation, Qigong and Somatic Movement sessions. This membership allows you to take as many classes as you wish each month for $35/month.
Continue your meditation practice in a group setting as we practice qigong , and somatic movement together. Share your insights,, discover new resources, and be a part of this growing community! (Minimum membership is 3 months)
- Mindful Tuesdays at 6 pm
- Wake-Up Wednesdays at 9 am.
- Somatic Movement Thursdays at 9 am
- (When you sign up you will receive a Thank You message with the zoom link for each session to be used on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday sessions.)
Somatic Movement Sessions
Somatic movement is a system of neuromuscular movement awareness and education. This work teaches you to recognize and release holding patterns and chronic pain resulting from injury, stress, repetitive strain, and habituated postures. These movements offer ways to heal yourself from back pain, neck pain, whiplash, sciatica, shoulder, tinnitus, TMJ, tendonitis, spinal stenosis, hip, headaches, ankylosing spondylitis, sacro-iliac pain, sciatica, uneven led length, joint pain, arthritis and more.

Eating Mindfully Together
Mindful Eating Journey Membership for $15 a month is on the last Monday of the month at 7 pm.
Join me for a virtual Eating Mindfully Together on the last Monday of the month at 7pm. We chat, meditate, laugh, play, eat and discover how “being” can calm the mind and body from “doing” to better nourish your relationship with food.
This membership offers recipes, mindful eating content and a personal consultation (once every 3 months).
Eating Mindfully Together is based on selections from FEED THE BRAIN: A mindful eating approach to nourish the body, heart and mind. (Minimum membership is 3 months)

Release Your Stress for Optimal Health Membership for $125 (minimum 3 month commitment)
This one-on-one focus guides you to release your stress using somatic movement, meditation and a mindful healthy eating plan. This level integrates two programs Heal to Health and Feed The Brain plus Somatics with personal guidance. A minimum three month commitment at $125 a month. Feed the Brain: A mindful eating approach to nourish the body, mind and heart
explores your daily relationship with food. Do you listen to your body’s internal cues or do you eat out of control and feel terrible afterwards?
How you approach eating can change the dialogue between the body and mind.
In this course you will learn how to:
- Discover a deeper mind-body relationship.
- Learn tools of integrating a mindful eating program into your lifestyle
- Gain a language independent of a diet culture.
- Feel a positive body image with self esteem to advance your personal goals.

Heal to Health: A mindfulness approach to cope with stress.
Transform your stress into strength! Start your own mindfulness practice and embody calm and movement with ease in your life. Based on the Jon-Kabat Zinn Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program, you will learn:

- The philosophy of mindfulness and Buddhist practices
- How stress reactivity and response tap into your nervous system creating dis-ease
- How to find relaxation and calm within yourself in a daily practice.
